Social Cohesion in Action
Mandoza magic stole the show at Love to Live 2015. As soon as he walked on to the stage, the atmosphere changed – from serenity to incredible excitement, clapping hands, dancing in awe, cameras flicking, absolute joy – a sight to behold, an indescribable moment, you had to be there to experience it, best described as Mandoza magic. He touched every one’s hearts, every one allowing the child in them to be set free, from young to old irrespective of colour, creed, race, religion or class – social cohesion in action, social cohesion at its very best, and every one at peace with themselves savoring the moment. This set the stage for the cutting of the 15 year anniversary cake by Love to Live chairman, Dan Moodley and Riquadeu Jacobs, MD Capital Newspapers.
This was the spirit that dominated the event from the moment the Isidingo and Scandal stars entered the venue on Saturday 16th May at 1pm. They were welcomed with rapturous applause and overwhelmed the audience with an exciting vibe. The highly motivational presentations by all celebs were well received and unquestionably impacted positively on everyone who attended.
Many were lucky to take memorable pictures with their favourite stars.

The stage was set early Saturday morning with the Love to Live “Say No to Crime, Corruption and Violence” motorcade which was enhanced by Berg Street Primary drum majorettes who brought the City Centre and the Raisethorpe CBD to a virtual standstill.
Maritzburgers responded overwhelmingly to the call by Love to Live to the “Say No to Crime, Corruption and Violence”campaign that was held from 15th to 17th May at Protea Sports Centre. The central theme of Love to Live 2015 reverberated throughout Pietermaritzburg and undoubtedly had a positive impact on them. On Sunday evening social media followed suit and went viral with pictures of the event and strong messages of support for the theme “I do right. Say No To Crime, Corruption and Violence”. Memories and images of the 15th edition of Love to Live will be indelibly etched in the minds of all.
